John Wheeler Hudson Jr. peacefully joined his wife, Mary-Etta on November 27, 2023. Cremation was chosen. A Celebration of Life is being planned. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Morrill Public Library.
John was born on July 7th, 1949. He grew up with his sisters on the family farm west of Morrill. After graduating from Morrill High School, he proudly served in the Navy before marrying the love of his life, Mary Brooks, on July 14, 1971. Together they had a daughter and son.
He had many jobs throughout the years on the family land. He found a career as a librarian, being a staple of the community at the Morrill Public Library, where he had been for over 20 years. He also took joy in overseeing the Morrill Municipal Dump as a hobby.
John is survived by his daughter; son; granddaughter; great-grandchildren; sisters; many brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; adopted grandchildren; cousins; nieces; nephews, and too many friends to count.
