Jesusita Urquiza, age 48, of Gering, Nebraska, passed away on December 29, 2023 at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff. The family will be gathering at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 4:00pm for last rites.
She was born on June 5, 1975, in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico to Porfirio Urquiza and Maria Carbajal. She received her early education in Los Angeles, California, graduating from Bell High School.
Jesusita had a very positive outlook on life and was usually smiling, because she could always find something to be happy about. As a very loving person, her favorite thing was spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She loved the outdoors! She was just a person you can count on. She was a devoted mother who adored her grandchildren and she will be missed by many.
Survivors include her daughter, Yesenia Pulido; son, Joel Pulido; three sisters; three brothers; grandchildren, Ismael Acosta, Jaciel Felipe, and Misael Felipe.
She was preceded in death by her father, Porfirio Urquiza.
