Jeffrey Carl Holtan, 68, of Gering, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2023.
Born on April 10, 1955, in Whitehall, Wisconsin to Beverly and Richard Holtan, Jeffrey was a master woodworker and cabinet maker, dedicating 50 years to his craft. A lifelong learner and master of his own health, Jeffrey found profound joy in life’s simplest offerings: fresh air, hot coffee, exercise, good music, and cheering for the Green Bay Packers.
Throughout the years, Jeffrey shared many cherished moments with his long-time girlfriend, Sandra Ross Van Engel.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Beverly and Richard Holtan. He is survived by his brother, John Holtan, his children Alisa Knutson, Cain Knutson, and Shernan Holtan, and his niece Sonya Holtan.
