James Thomas Jackson was born December 14, 2005 in Scottsbluff Nebraska. He was welcomed by his parents James and Heather Jackson and his big sister Ashley. He later helped us welcome his little brother Jakoby. He attended Geil Elementary, Gering Junior High, and graduated from Gering High School in 2024.

He worked at The Mixing Bowl, Runza, Starbucks in Target, and Pete’s Quick Lube. He really loved working at Pete’s and loved his boss and coworkers. JT was always professional at work, even with friends and family. In his free time, he loved hanging out with friends and family and playing disc golf. Against his dad’s advice, he became a Buffalo Bills fan. His favorite player was Josh Allen. JT loved his Ford Ranger truck, Jesus, and his people. He was a beautiful and kind soul who everyone just loved.

JT is survived by his parents James and Heather Jackson; sister Ashley Jackson (fiancé Johnathan Weitzel); brother Jakoby Jackson; grandparents Tom Donahue (Nelda Robison), Elizabeth Jackson and Jim and Sherri Jackson; aunts and uncles Jackie Jackson (Dan Skinner), Jennifer Bittman (Jeff), Jillian Jackson, Jefferson Jackson, Jessica Gipson (Jeff); cousins Kyle Heckman (Michaela), Angelo Sanchez, Tatum Gipson, Tavian Gipson, and Cirilla Heckman; his honorary brothers Austin Kizzire, Will Gustafson, Jason Enlow, Trenton Brunner, and his family dogs Tuff, Varly, and Kevon.
