James “Jim” Alan Morris, 62 of Scottsbluff, Nebraska died Saturday, August 26, 2023 at his home.
His Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dr. Tyson Lambertson officiating. Jim was born on August 26, 1961 in Crawfordsville, Indiana to Lowell Eugene and Mary (Drollinger) Morris. He received his early education in the Indiana public schools. He received his GED in 1979.
He married Connie Allen on May 26, 1995 in Akron Four Square Church in Akron, Colorado and made their home in Akron Colorado. The couple moved to Otis, Colorado and in 1997 they moved to Ocean Park, Washington. They returned to Akron in 1998 after the birth of their first child. In 1999, they moved to Littleton, Colorado, later to Westminster, Colorado. In 2014 they moved to Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
Jim was a telephone lineman for many years and traveled the entire continental states. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. His passion was the love for his family. He will be sadly missed.
Survivors include his wife Connie Morris; daughter Natalie K Morris of Bedford, Texas; son James G (Kailee) and their children Dean Morris, Mik E Morris and Arlo James Morris of Grantsville, Utah; daughter Cassidy E Morris of Scottsbluff, NE and daughter Caitlin N. Morris (James Avera) of Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and his brother Robert.
