Jacquline R. Ross, 82, of Scottsbluff, NE, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 1, 2024. Her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm on Monday, May 6, 2024, at Bridgman Funeral Home in Scottsbluff with Pastor Garry Schick officiating. It is respectfully requested that memorials in Jacquline’s honor be made in care of Brookstone Hospice in Scottsbluff. She was born in Imperial, NE to Don and Dee McConnell, the youngest of three children. She graduated from Chase County High School. She attended Doane College for one year and was part of their swim team. She then attended Denver Business College, graduating with an Associate Degree.
She met Leon Ross in Sterling, CO and they were married in Imperial, NE. To this union their daughter Sylvia was born.
She was a homemaker and helped her husband for many years with his insurance business. She enjoyed her morning coffee group and their friendship. After they retired, they enjoyed camping and fishing, traveling and winters in Arizona. In the summers she enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers and gardening. She was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death are her parents; in-laws; brother Gary McConnell and sister Lynn Eberhardt.
Jacquline is survived by her husband Leon; daughter Sylvia (Jimmy) Carlson; grandchildren Makenzie (Jeff) Koncaba, Lex (Keelyn) Carlson, Logan Carlson and five great grandchildren.
