We bid farewell to a beloved matriarch, a beacon of love, and a true testament to a life well-lived. Helen, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother peacefully passed away at the remarkable age of 100. She entered the gates of Heaven on November 30, 2023, at Heritage Estates in Gering.

Born on August 3, 1923 in Kemmerer, Wyoming to George John and Rosine Julianne Pappas. Helen was raised in Wyoming with her 2 sisters and 1 brother. Her family then relocated to Nebraska where she completed her education. On August 23, 1942 she married the love of her life, Everett Wellington Palser. Together they had four children and had an exemplary marriage for 64 years at the time of his passing.

Helen was a remarkable woman whose legacy will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the perfect example of grace, wisdom, and unwavering faith. Her life was a tapestry woven with threads of kindness, compassion, and devotion to her family and faith.

As a mother, Helen showered her children with boundless love and guidance. Her nurturing spirit created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and a sense of security. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, embracing everyone she encountered with open arms, creating a vast network of love that will endure forever.

A devout woman of faith, Helen lived by the principles of kindness, forgiveness, and love. Her commitment to her spiritual beliefs was evident in the way she treated others, always with compassion and a gentle spirit. She was an active member of The Rock Church, where her presence was a source of inspiration to many.

Helen Asemo Palser was not only known for her love and faith but also for her resilience and adaptability. Living through a century of change, she witnessed the world transform in countless ways. Her ability to embrace each era with grace and an open heart was a testament to her remarkable spirit.

Helen is survived by sister, Victorine and Phillip Palser; her son, Jim and Glenda Palser; daughter, Rose Stoller and Jack Stoller; daughters-in-laws, Vicky Palser and Peggy Palser; ten grandchildren and their spouses: Annie and Todd Boggs, Jami and Joe Wilson, Reed and Crystal Palser, Caity and Nate Kvamme, Brandi Stoller, John and Angel Palser, Michelle Palser, Ann Palser, Christie and Jonathan Turner, Brandon and Julie Palser; great and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews that all loved her dearly.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; brother; sister; loving husband, Everett; and two special sons, Gary and Barry Palser.

The Celebration of Helen’s Life will be held at The Rock Church on December 20th and 10am. The church will be open at 9am for coffee, donuts, and fellowship. For those that cannot attend in person there will be a link provided to watch a live stream. Memorial gifts may be made to the Legacy Fund at The Rock Church in care of Dugan- Kramer.

A public visitation will be held on December 19th from 11am-5pm at Dugan- Kramer Funeral Home in Scottsbluff.
