Gary Lee Stranske, age 75, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2024.
Gary was born in Geneva, Nebraska on May 12, 1949 to Raymond and Dorothy Stranske. He attended school in Lincoln, Grand Island and graduated 1967 from Giltner High School, Giltner NE. Gary married Pauletta (Long) Stranske in 1976 and they had two children, Lisa and Christie. They lived in Mccool Jct, North Platte, and Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He owned and operated a tavern in McCool Jct, NE. After selling the tavern he worked and retired at the rank of Sergeant, from the Nebraska State Patrol after more than 31 years of service. He enjoyed camping and fishing. He also enjoyed attending his granddaughters sporting events especially softball games.
Gary is survived by his two children Lisa Paez and Christie Stranske of Scottsbluff, his Grandchildren Sasha and Zoey Paez of Scottsbluff. He is also survived by his Sister and Brother in law Denise and John Janssen of Geneva, NE. Sister in law and Brother in law Patty and Kenneth Agena, of Bryan, TX, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his wife Pauletta, parents Raymond and Dorothy, and his brother Jimmy.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:30 am, Monday, June 10, 2024, at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Chapel, 3201 Avenue B, Scottsbluff, Nebraska, 69361 with a Graveside Service at Fairview Cemetery to follow.
