Doyle Lewis Harding, 87, of Broomfield, CO, formerly of Delta, CO, passed away on October 8, 2023. Funeral services for Doyle will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, 11:00am, at the Vine United Methodist Church, 2002 4th Avenue, Scottsbluff, NE. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Scottsbluff, NE. Following the interment, a reception will be held at 12:30pm at the Vine United Methodist Church in Scottsbluff, to further celebrate Doyle’s life. He was born on December 1, 1935, in Alma, NE to Lloyd and Naomi (Seyler) Harding. Doyle lived his early years in Scottsbluff, NE and graduated from Scottsbluff High School before joining the US Navy and serving in Oxnard, CA for 4 years. During this time, he married his beloved wife, Grace Kunes, and they were blessed with three children, Shelli, Cricket, and Mitch. Doyle and Grace spent almost 47 years together until her death in 2004 and successfully owned and managed hotel, restaurant, and bar operations in Baggs, WY and Delta, CO. They enjoyed traveling, spending time at Lake Powell, and most of all, being with family and friends.

Doyle was blessed to marry Harriet Jones in 2012 and they shared several wonderful years. Together with Harriet, Doyle continued his love for travel, adventure, and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by Harriet and her family of Westminster, CO; his daughters Shelli Harding (Amy) of Lakewood, CO and Cricket (Kirk) Fraser of Delta, CO, along with 6 grandchildren: Tasha (Matt) Myers, Whitnee (Paul) Lear, Jason (Rindy) Fraser, Travis (Colleen) Harding, Cassidee (Jake) Bucher, and Tanner Zimmerman and 13 great-grandchildren: Riggen (Dakota), Hadley, and Bailey Myers; Elaine and Conner Cannon; Aubrey, Jordan, and Aadrey Fraser, Damon Lear, Gaige and Brylee Bucher, and Bensen and Gracie Harding. He is also survived by his brother Dale (Shirley) Harding, sister LaVelle (Ron) Van Voast, sister-in-law Mila (Bob) de Kok, special cousin Mary Jo (Mike) Jackson, and daughter-in-law, Angie (Jim) Zimmerman, as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Lloyd and Naomi Harding, his wife Grace Harding, his son Mitch Harding, and sister-in-law Judi Harding.

Doyle will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the care providers at Legend of Broomfield Memory Care for caring for and loving Doyle in his final years.
