Dolores “Doris” C Strong, 68 of Morrill, Nebraska passed away Friday, May 10, 2024 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.
At her request, cremation has taken place and she will be interred at the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery in Alliance alongside her husband Warren. Memorials to the Nebraska Veterans Cemetery in Alliance. She was born on May 12, 1955 to Jacinto Cubillas and Carmelina Alinabon. She attended Lorraine Technical School in Olongapo City, Philippines graduating with a Master Taylor degree. She was married to Warren W Strong of Mitchell on December 6, 1979 at Angeles City, Philippines. She traveled the world with Warren during his Military career then settling in Mitchell. After Warren passed in 2017, she loved to travel to the Philippines visiting friends and relatives. She became as US citizen in 1987.
She loved to crochet and her favorite pastime was singing karaoke on FaceTime all hours of the day and night.
Survivors include her sister Edna Cubillas Burres Henry, brother-in-law Bill Henry, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Norm and Christy Strong, Eldon and Roxie Strong and Larry and Marie Strong and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Warren, parents, in-laws Lawrence and Ethel Strong and brother-in-law Edwin Strong.
