Cynthia “Cindy” B Wurdeman, age 70 of Scottsbluff went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, February 4, 2023 surrounded by her family and her best friend Frank Hrasky at her home.
Her memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Zion Evangelical Church in Scottsbluff with Pastor Andrew Griess officiating. Per her wishes, cremation has occurred. A graveside service will follow at West Lawn Cemetery in Gering for family members. Memorials may be sent to Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. Cynthia was born September 26, 1952 in Scottsbluff, NE to Clarence Ralph and Katherine (Dittenber) Buxman. She received her early education in Mitchell, NE, graduating from Mitchell High School in 1970. As a child she lived in the Mitchell area on a farm with her parents. During her high school years, she was a member of the Dorothy Bronson Singers. She competed in and won many contests and competitions. She had a flare for writing and after graduating she studied journalism at Western Nebraska Community College.
Cindy married Danny Bailey in 1972 and from this union a daughter was born in 1975. She worked as a vet tech for many years. Since being a vet tech her interest raising animals were her passion.
Then eventually she married Robert Auto-Bee until he passed in 2001.
Cindy and Dana Wurdeman married in 2006 and were married until his passing on May 30, 2019.
Cindy’s passion was her grandchildren and always seeing them happy. It was her primary goal in her life. Her love for the children was unbreakable. Our love for her and the stubbornness she had, we all will deeply miss it all. Her one thing she always said was, “I will have to scrub my floors tonight.”
Survivors include her only daughter Danelle Bailey of Scottsbluff; granddaughters Shelby Sullivan of Gering, Payton Pickering of Mitchell; grandson Skyler (Keota) Sullivan of Torrington, WY; great grandchildren include: Havlee Sullivan, Braylei Doty and Brixxtyn (Little Dude) Sullivan all of Gering, Zyniah and Freya Sullivan of Torrington; step daughters include: Brandi (Justin) Brunz of Gering, Ashley Wallace of Scottsbluff; step sons include: Ethan (Raquel) Wurdeman of Gering and Anthony Auto-Bee of York, NE; sister Laura (Wayne) Hubbard of Mitchell, NE, son-in-law David Sullivan of Kearney, NE and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and aunts; step grandchildren include: Brooklyn and Jaxon Brunz of Gering.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Katherine Buxman, husbands Robert Auto-Bee and Dana Wurdeman and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents.
Nana will forever be her name.
