Clyde Allen Beatty, a loving father, proud grandfather, and soon to be great-grandfather, passed away on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at UC Health in Loveland, Colorado, with his wife and daughter by his side. He was 83 years old.
Clyde was born on September 1, 1940, to Charles and Lillian Beatty in Ainsworth, Nebraska.
Clyde enlisted in the United States Army and served his country overseas for three years. He was proud to be a veteran and was extremely honored to receive the Quilt of Valor on July 4, 2020.
On February 10, 1968, he married Betty, and together they raised two daughters, Lisa and Cindy, and later a grandson, Dillon. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, gardening, working on cars, and cherished moments spent camping with his family or attending his grandchildren’s activities. He was smart with a good dose of common sense. He thought everything was figure out-able and he always knew a guy.
He is survived by his wife, Betty of Scottsbluff; daughters, Cindy (Scott) of Alliance and Lisa of Daytona Beach, Florida; along with their children and families, Seth, Renata, Evan (Brionna) Schoeneman, and Dillon Beatty; brothers, Larry (Cynthia) and Mike (Judy) Beatty; and sister, Doris Leach.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Pat and Jim.
A celebration of Clyde’s life will be held on Monday, March 25, 2024 at 10:00 am at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel.
