Memorial services for Cheryl Anne Travis, age 78, who died February 6th, 2023 at the Mitchell Care Center will be held Friday, March 24, 2023, at 2:30 pm, at Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel. She was born October 7, 1944, at Fairacers Hospital, Scottsbluff, Ne, to August Earnest Howard (Bud) Travis and Beulah Mae Jones and received her early education in the Morrill Schools. She married John Fillingham on January 26, 1963, and made their home in Fort Morgan, Co from 1970 to 1988. Cheryl and John loved and enjoyed life with their two children and many friends.
Survivors include: Doug Fillingham (Son), Carrie Loudenburg (Daughter), Mindy Fillingham (Daughter-in-law), Rick Loudenburg (Son-in-law), Grand kids and Great Grand kids: Nip & Lorrie Fillingham (Lyndie & Lexxie), Tuck & Alice Fillingham (Fletcher & Griffin), Cortney & Ethan Bellairs (Bree, Wade & Theo), Kalliope Loudenburg and Wolfgang Loudenburg.
She was preceded in death by: Bud Travis (Father), Beulah Travis (Mother), grandparents Ernest & Eva Travis and Beuford & Mary Jones,
Cheryl was a strong, wonderful person who will be deeply missed by all of those who knew and loved her. Her time came to soon for us, but she was ready to be at peace. Cheryl/Mom/Grannie will always remain in our hearts.
