Carl A Pedersen, age 71, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. A funeral service for Carl will be held Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Dugan-Kramer Funeral Home in Scottsbluff. Friends and relatives are invited to pay respects to Carl starting at 9:00 a.m. that same morning. His final resting place will be West Lawn Cemetery, Gering, Nebraska. Carl was born in Kimball, NE to Anton and Violet (Harms) Pedersen on May 27, 1952. Carl attended Scottsbluff schools, graduating with the Class of 1971. Carl was united in marriage to Pam Templar on March 14, 1987 and they made their home in Scottsbluff, NE. Carl worked for the State of Nebraska Department of Roads for 29 years retiring in 2009. He loved to hunt and fish and shared that passion with many friends and family. Carl was the BEST “Uncle” to all of the kids in his life. It didn’t matter if they were family or friends. He loved them all unconditionally. Carl had many special people in his life, but especially his dear friends Patty & Rick Valentine, “Daughter” Tifani Franklin, and “Granddaughters” Hailey & Emily Franklin, who were also their God Daughters.

Survivors include his wife, Pam; Brothers, Bill (Anne), and Ed (Lisa); Sisters, Andrea Gonzales, Trudy Ziegler, and Madeline Reynoso; Mother-In-Law, Treva Templar; Brothers-In-Law, Bill LeMaitre, Bill Templar, and Jay (Rhonda) Templar; Sisters-In-Law, LeAnn (Mike) Grasmick, and Karen (Rick) Mortimore; and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Brother, Paul; Step-Brother, Guy Larsen; Sisters, Jenny Pedersen, Kirstine LeMaitre, and Gretchen Ramirez; Father-In-Law, Bill Templar; Brothers & Sisters-In-Law, Ardie Templar, Jim & Roberta Green, and Jim Ziegler.
