Billie Elaine Wolf, age 78, of Harrisburg, Nebraska passed away on October 30, 2023, surrounded by her family. A private service will be held at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Bayard, Nebraska. It is respectfully requested that in lieu of sending any flowers, memorials in Billie’s honor be made in care of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Bayard. Billie was born on June 26, 1944, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to William Gianotsos and Pauline (Fotinos) Gianotsos.
Billie was a devoted wife to her husband, David Wolf of 54 years, and a wonderful mother to her only child, daughter Denise (Wolf) Petko. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Michael, Kassie and Allie and two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jack.
Dave, with his trusted wife and partner, started and ran many successful businesses in Colorado and Nebraska throughout the years. Billie enjoyed the tranquility of their ranch in Harrisburg, cooking for the family, fishing with Dave, and adventuring with her sisters. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents; William Gianotsos and Pauline (Fotinos) Gianotsos; and her sister, Constance (Gianotsos) Wolfe.
She is survived by; her husband, David Wolf; daughter, Denise (Michael) Petko, sisters Lonnie (John, deceased) LaRusso, Chrissie (Chris) Haiskey, Kathy (David) Garland III, and brother, Steve (Janie) Gianotsos, grandchildren; Michael (JaCee) Petko, Kassandra Petko, and Alexandra Petko, and great grandchildren, Olivia and Jack (Michael and JaCee).
