Betty Jean Milliken Eiserman (Jacobus)

Born March 17th 1939 Flew Home July 23rd 2022

Our mother, was an amazing person. She knew no stranger. She would ask if she could touch your hair because she liked it. She loved people.

We took her to Sturgis one year—my Lord she embarrassed us all. She stared and gawked so that you would have thought she never seen half naked people before. LOL

What you don’t know is she was one of the hardest workers I have even seen. Working in the orange grove, climbing up and down the ladder propped against the orange tree, carrying a bag with a sling across her shoulder with the weight of the oranges weighing her down. After 8 hours of that, working at McDonalds until close at 1:00 am with her oldest son (Alan).

Betty was the mother of seven children who she instilled great work ethics to. She loved plants, cigarettes, chocolate malts, and her family.

Betty married her first husband, and they were together too many damn years (mutually agreed upon). She then married her second husband, Morris. Betty’s first-born, Alan, was love at first sight. Betty’s second child (Dona) after years of struggling to find a good relationship …finally found peace with each other. Betty’s daughter (Kathy) passed away of pneumonia around 3 months after being born. Her fourth child (Daphne) was very, very close to her mom. They had a very beautiful relationship. Her fifth child (Danny) has such a wild sense of humor and strong personality, you could relate him to what hells angels looks like, but he really does have a heart of gold. Danny made Betty laugh like no other. Sixth child (Desi) was a spoiled brat and remains that way. Betty and Desi’s relationship is undefinable, they loved each other and that’s all that mattered. Then Came Joe aka Scoop! Desi thought she had the market on spoiled, Joe stole it, as well as Bettys heart!!

Betty’s children and grandchildren were her life. Betty kept in touch with all her family, those in Louisiana, Nebraska and Florida. Betty’s smile was like being smiled at by an angel. Betty always saw the good in people. She didn’t have a mean bone in her body.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter (Kathy), and brothers, Dempsey and Ralph.

Her living family includes: Alan (Maria) Eiserman, Dona (Ramon) Conley, Daphne (Thom) West, Danny (Kristen) Eiserman, Desi (Javier) Serda, Joe Eiserman. Betty has 17 grand kids and 26 great grand kids.

Cremation was handled by Bridgeport Memorial Chapel, and online condolences for the family may be left at www.bridgeportmemorialchapel.com
