Bellamy Adam Camacho, 51, Phoenix, AZ
April 21, 1972 - October 3, 2023

Bellamy Adam Camacho, 51, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023. Cremation has taken place, and a private gathering with family will be forthcoming.

Bellamy was born April 21, 1972, in Bridgeport, Nebraska to Karin Tilley (Policky) and Mike Camacho. He was doted on from the start as the first Camacho grandson in the family. Bellamy attended Scottsbluff High School and shortly after headed to Denver. Bellamy was fascinated with aviation from an early age and once he landed in Colorado, he knew becoming a pilot was his path. He obtained his pilot’s license in Farmington, New Mexico and went to work flying and training in the field.

While in Denver he met the mother of his children, Jessica Lerner, and together they would welcome two beautiful daughters, Grace and Josie. Bellamy loved his girls beyond measure and was so proud to be their dad – it was in his mind, his greatest accomplishment.

Bellamy didn’t know a stranger and had a laugh and voice that would draw a person in. Always ready with a joke or a witty response, there wasn’t much that got past him. He loved history, music, flying and gadgets. Bellamy had an amazing memory and loved to reminiscence about his younger years with his brothers – many special memories held between the three of them. He loved family traditions and visiting with family even with the distance between.

Bellamy is survived by his daughters, Grace Camacho and Josie Camacho; his mother, Karin (Michael) Tilley; his father, Mike (Connie) Camacho; his brothers, Christopher (Katie) Camacho and Alexander Tilley; his grandmother, Luilla Thompson; his nieces, Julia Camacho and Samantha Camacho; his nephew, Quentin Camacho; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends that were a very special part of his life.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Policky; and grandparents, Joe “Pompo” and Corine Camacho.
