Augustina Ybarra Moreno, 68, passed away the morning of August 5th in her daughter’s home, surrounded by her 2 daughters and a sister.
We are having her catholic mass on Tuesday August 13, 2924, at 10:30 am at St Agnes church and burial at a later date.
Augustina was born on August 22, 1956, to Francisco Ybarra and Juanita H. Gutierrez in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She grew up and attended school in Scottsbluff where she made lifelong friends. Augustina met and married her husband Jose (Sapo) Moreno on October 28, 1972. From this union they had 3 children; Consuelo Marie, Rita Renee, Jason Jerome Moreno.
Augustina and Jose (Sapo) lived in various places in the panhandle for many years. They finally made their home in North Dakota, where she started her business Tina’s Greenhouse. Augustina always had love for flowers and gardening. She also loved to listen to music and entertain family and friends.

Her children Consuelo McDaniel (Nebraska); Rita (Tony) Salway, Nebraska; and Jason (Angelica) Moreno, North Dakota. Her grandchildren Jordan (Carrie) Moreno, Nebraska; Taylor (Miranda) Tapster, Nebraska; Justis (Winter) Sell, Nebraska; Tristin McDaniel, Nebraska; Kadence McDaniel, Nebraska; Bre’Aunna (Tre) Davis, North Dakota; Anthony Jr (Brissa) Salway, Nebraska; Jayden (Caitlyn) Ybarra, North Dakota; Tayla Ybarra, Colorado, Josye Ybarra, North Dakota; Maryna Martinez, Nebraska; Jessica Clapper, Nebraska; Desmond Clapper, Gering; and Jestin Salidas, Nebraska; her great grandchildren Ariea Moreno, Nebraska; Josiah Sell, Nebraska; Hendrix Sell, Nebraska; Bexley Davis, North Dakota; Nixon Davis, North Dakota; Dax Davis, North Dakota; Adrian Salway, Nebraska; Maleni Salway, Nebraska; Roman Ybarra, North Dakota; Renni Ybarra, North Dakota.
