Anthony Lee (Tony – Tonedawgg) Ostendorf, 42, died unexpectedly on June 27, 2022, at his home in Terrytown, Nebraska. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Zion Evangelical Church, 3617 5th Ave, Scottsbluff, NE with Pastor Andy Griess officiating. Cremation has taken place, Internment at Sunset Memorial Park, US-26, Scottsbluff, NE will follow the service.
Tony (Tonedawgg) was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, on July 4th, 1979, to Dale and Patricia (Grommet) Ostendorf. He graduated from Gering High School in 1998. He was proud to be an American, celebrating every 4th of July with BBQ and fireworks. Among his multiple jobs, his favorites were his first at Pizza Hut where he worked for 5 years; at Scottsbluff Country Club Golf Course as groundskeeper; and as DJ Tonedawgg, sharing his love of music with all who would listen, being most proud of his time as DJ helping raise funds for the Children’s Miracle Network in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He took pride in his son, in his heritage, in his garden, and in his DJ gigs. He loved to cook, to help those around him, and enjoyed working on his vehicles.
Tony is survived in death by his son Alex Ostendorf and his father Dale Ostendorf (Sheila Frazier) of Gering; as well as aunts, uncles, and several cousins, from both sides of his family. He is preceded in death by his mother Patricia (Grommet) Ostendorf; paternal grandparents Edward & Audette Ostendorf of Morrill; maternal grandparents Fred & Ester Grommet of Minatare.
