AnnaRilla Dudden, 89, of Bridgeport, passed away Thursday, Sept 14, 2023, at the Morrill County Community Hospital in Bridgeport. Cremation has taken place per her wishes. Her memorial service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at the Bridgeport Church of Christ with Pastor Jonathan Seng officiating. Inurnment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Broadwater. It is respectfully requested that in lieu of any flowers, memorials in Ann’s honor be made in care of her family to be designated at a later date. AnnaRilla (Stewart) Dudden was born on a farm near Lisco, NE and grew up and graduated in a mining town, Sunrise, WY. After she married, she lived in and near Broadwater, NE until they moved to Bridgeport, NE in 1969. Bob and Ann owned and operated Dudden Redi-Mix where she was the bookkeeper. She was a nurse’s aide at the Bridgeport Hospital. She painted pictures, baked & decorated cakes, sewed quilt tops, & did machine embroidery. She taught classes at the school, 4H, Girl Scouts and area quilt shops.
She is survived by her children Connie Dudden, Daniel Dudden, Dallen Dudden & Diana (Rueben) Romick; daughter-in-law Joanie Dudden; grandchildren Jason (Ashley) Dudden, David Romick, DeeAnna (Josh) McMillen, Melissa Nau, twins Megan (Maverick) Miller & Mitchel Dudden; great-grandchildren Anthony, AnnaLynn, Opal, Aidyn, Canden, Axton, Aubrey, twins Violet & Jaylin, JayLynn, Natalie, LilyAna, Remi, Milo, Alaster & Molly; brother Tom (JoAnn) Stewart; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Jim & Edna Dudden, Pat Dudden, Harriet Jay, Mary Saunders, Charlotte & Roger Silvrants, Kathy & Norman Franken & Melody Jay; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews & cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Dudden, parents Robert & Opal Stewart, brothers & sisters-in-law George & Roberta Stewart, Bobby & Shirley Stewart and Stanley Stewart; great-granddaughter, Addison Nau, mother-in-law, Ilo Jay, brothers-in-law Phillip Jay, Walter Jay, Richard Dudden & Garrett Dudden, and grandparents.
