The service will be livestreamed and recorded to Annie’s obituary page viewable at www.reverencefuneralparlor.com. Memorials may be made in care of the family and will be designated at a later date.

Annie was born on April 21, 1956, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Jose and Isabel (Morales) Ortega. She grew up in Lyman, Nebraska. She obtained her education and graduated from Lyman High School. Annie then attended Nebraska Western College where she received her associates degree.

She married the love of her life, Eliseo De Los Santos, on August 4, 1978. Through this marriage they were blessed with three children, Eliseo Jr., Ruth, and Matthew.

Annie led a very active life, and her main passion was her family. Along with being a stay-at-home mom, she also took on other interests including running her own business, Annie’s Imports, for ten years and operating a daycare. She was also always ready to help Eliseo in everything he did. This included helping Eliseo with his business for the past 44 years.

Annie was a very faithful Christian and Godly example in the ministry at Maranatha Church where she was a Pastor with her husband. Annie and Eliseo welcomed many different people into their home over the years and expanded their family to include Steven, Sarah, Rebekah, Billy, Brenda, Crystal, Jessica, Johnboy, and Cesear Jr and many foster kids. One of the greatest joys in Annie’s life was to spend time with her grandchildren. She was very involved in their lives as she picked them up from school every day, took them on many ice cream runs, and taught them her love of gardening and many other activities.

Annie was also well known for her food, especially her enchiladas. She always made extras to ensure that no one ever went hungry. She would even go as far as to send her children to school with extra lunches to give away. Every Friday night she loved to host family night and enjoyed laughing and spending time with her family.

Annie is survived by her husband of almost 44 years, Eliseo De Los Santos Sr.; her children and their spouses, Eliseo Jr. (Monica) De Los Santos, Ruth (Gerald) Garza, Matthew (Ashley) De Los Santos; step-son, J.R. (Erika) Saldavar; grandchildren, Isaac, Eli, Emily, Eliseo III, Catalina, Gerald Jr., Jedidiah, Uriah, Micah, Alijah, Desmond, Pearl, Andi, Santana, Delilah, and Jacey; siblings, Vincent (Debbie) Ortega, Erlinda (Cesear) De Los Santos, Rosemary (Pete) Weitzel, Estella (Hector) Ramirez, Richard (Diane) Ortega, Joey Ortega, and Melissa (John) Hernanadez; and many nieces and nephews.
