It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of my beloved father, Angel ”Mutt” Sanchez Jr, who left us on May 13, 2024 at the age of 62. Angel Jr. was surrounded by his loving family and friends during his final moments. He was a man of immense humor and kindness. Angel Jr. found great joy in helping his fellow neighbors and friends. His passion for custom car design, thrifting for treasures, and his unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.
He is survived by his daughter Nikki (Jon) and grandsons Brody and Xander of Grand Island, Nebraska, Angel’s father, Angel “Mutt” Sanchez Sr. and siblings Rosalie, Eli (Carlena), and Zeke (Tammy) all of Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Sanchez.
Family is not always just measured in blood. Angel Jr. shared his life and love with Lisa Murray, her daughters and grandchildren.
Angel Jr. was a pillar of strength and a beacon of love. His absence leaves a void in our hearts. To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a service will be held at Lady of Guadalupe Church on Friday May 24th at 10:00 am followed by a lunch at the Guadalupe Center. We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed.
