The Scottsbluff girls and boys track and field teams were in action on Thursday at the Gothenburg Invite with the girls team finishing in 5th place while the boys finished in 11th place.
Hannah Rugroden led the Bearcat girls to a pair of wins including the open mile with a time of 5:28.25 and she also ran on the winning two mile relay team along with Hannah Hertzler, Claire Thomalla, and Ysabella Scherer as they posted a time of 10:21.41.
Scottsbluff’s Paige Horne finished second in the 100 hurdles and fourth in the 300 hurdles.
Sidney dominated again on the girls side winning the meet with a 117 points.
