A 29-year-old Alliance woman has been sentenced to prison following a December shoplifting investigation in Bridgeport.
Veronica Gonzales was arrested by Morrill County Deputies after stealing a DeWalt Tool Kit valued at more than $1,000. When officers made contact with Gonzales, they also found other people’s ID’s, debit cards and social security cards.
On Monday in District Court, she was sentenced to 18 months in prison after pleading no contest to charges of Theft by Unlawful Taking and Attempted Criminal Possession of Financial Devices.
