Minatare Man Sentenced to Probation After Caught With 38 Grams of Meth

Probation for a Minatare man caught with more than an ounce of meth during an October traffic stop .

58-year-old Byron Talley was arrested after 38 grams of meth and $1,800 cash was discovered by Scotts Bluff County Sheriff Deputies.

In February, he pleaded no contest to an amended charge of Possession of Meth with Intent to Distribute and agreed to forfeit the cash that was seized.

Last week in court, District Judge Andrea Miller sentenced Talley to a term of just two years of probation.
