A Minatare man who was arrested last March on drug and weapons charges has been sentenced.
45-year-old Corey Poor Bear was facing two counts of Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance after authorities found a sword, knife, suspected meth, and pills.
Poor Bear ultimately pleaded no contest to one of each of the charges.. and on Friday was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 56 days credit for time already served. He was also ordered to a term of nine months of post release supervision.
