A Minatare man made his first court appearance Monday as he’s accused of burglarizing a downtown Scottsbluff business.
27-year-old Edwin Janis is charged with a Class 2A Felony of Burglary stemming from a Thursday night break-in.
Witnesses say they saw Janis inside the business, and officers found him walking northbound on Broadway when they arrived on scene.
He’s being held on a $55,000 bond with a 10 percent provision, and was arraigned Monday afternoon in Scotts Bluff County Court.
