The 15th annual Summit to Summit event took place on Saturday as runners and walkers made their way from Summit Christian College in Gering to the top of Scotts Bluff National Monument and back to complete the 7.2 mile event.
Nick Kizzire posted the overall winning time of 44:13.
Joe Wilson was second in the Men’s Division with a time of 44:54 with JJ Ozuna finishing in third place.
In the Female Division the winning time belonged to Jacki Musgrave at 1:03:16 and she recently reached a big milestone in her running career.
Julia Faustman and Sally Bryner were the second and third place finishers for the Female Division.
