BROKEN BOW – The Broken Bow Runza will take part in the annual Runza Feeds the Need on Tuesday.
Every April Runza dedicates a percentage of sales to benefit youth hunger and food insecurity efforts in local communities.
On April 23, the Broken Bow Runza will donate 10% of all sales to the Broken Bow Food Pantry.
According to the USDA, about 12% of Nebraska households face food insecurity. Over the past six years, Runza says it has raised more than $200,000 in addition to raising awareness of the issue.
