Senator Tom Brewer will be hosting his Farewell Dinner to all his constituents (past & present) of the 43rd District this Saturday Evening, October 19th at the Thomas County Fairgrounds beginning at 6pm. It’s free of charge and will include a dinner and program.
Sen. Brewer was first elected to the Nebraska Legislature in 2016 and re-elected in 2020. He is unable to run again due to term limits.
Brewer is a graduate of Gordon High School and obtained degrees from Doane College and the Army War College.
He served in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot from 1977 to 2014.
Among the honors and awards for his military service include the Secretary of Defense Medal for the Defense of Freedom; Purple Heart (twice) and Bronze Star.
