Cozad, Neb. — A Cozad man who crashed an ATV remains in the hospital. John Kugler, 78, of rural Cozad was injured when the ATV crashed north of Cozad while he was chasing cattle.
The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the crash shortly before 12 p.m. Wednesday.
A witness on scene indicated that Kugler was responsive immediately following the crash.
Cozad Volunteer Fire & Rescue transported Kugler for suspected non-life-threatening injuries to the Cozad Hospital. He was later transferred to CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney.
