The Nebraska State Patrol investigated a fatality accident around 3:15pm Sunday on Interstate 80 near mile marker 282, or about 6 miles east of Kearney.
A Kia sedan was traveling eastbound when it lost control and struck a semi trailer parked on the shoulder.
The driver of the Kia, identified as Mollie Quick, 20, of Waukee, Iowa, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the semi was not injured.
