Broken Bow seniors set for big Memorial Weekend

BROKEN BOW – Paul Brown Field will be busy over the holiday weekend as the Broken Bow Senior Legion baseball team hosts games all three days.

The seniors are off to a strong start to the season after a 15-0 blowout of Overton to improve to 2-0.

Bow will open the weekend against St. Paul, which started its season with a 10-2 victory over Albion on Wednesday.

On Sunday Alliance will be the opponent. The Spartans dropped their season opener to Gering 6-3 on Wednesday.

Finally Imperial will be the visitor on Memorial Day. The weekend’s games will mark the star of the season for the Horns.

St. Paul, Alliance and Imperial will also play each other in a round robin over the course of the three days.

First pitch for Broken Bow’s games is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday and 4 p.m. both Sunday and Monday.
