Broken Bow, Neb. — The City of Broken Bow and Utility Offices will be open normal hours Tuesday, May 7th.  The offices are expected to reopen at 8 a.m.

Extensive flooding in the municipal building required the closing of the city offices Friday and Monday for maintenance and repairs.

The phone system was able to be restored and is up and running.  Citizens may start utilizing normal City and Utility phone numbers again for needs and inquiries.

Things will look different at the Municipal Building, in the interim, while some unexpected renovations are completed. The City Clerk, Deputy Clerk/Zoning Administrator, and Utility Clerk will be located upstairs in the offices at the far north end of the hallway.  There will be a small table with some instructions, supplies, and a courtesy phone located near the entrance to where the offices used to be on the main floor.

If you need assistance, you only need to pick up the phone and it will automatically start ringing in the upstairs offices; someone will help you as quickly as possible (no need to dial a number).  Thank you again for your patience and support as we continue to navigate this situation.
