BROKEN BOW – Bill Myers of Broken Bow was the winner of Turkey Bowl IX Saturday morning at the Grocery Kart.
Myers came out on top of a field of ten contestants to take the grand prize. He was awarded a 92.3 second run through the store where the items that made it into his cart were free.
Myers began with some fresh meat and little smokies before grabbing a few cases of pop. He then made a dash for the coffee before finishing with frozen pizzas. In all, he walked away with $463.19 worth of free groceries.
Myers said his approach was a simple one.
Each of the other contestants received a $50 consolation prize from the sponsors, which were the Grocery Kart, Bruning Bank, Lillie Kate Boutique, Lyne’s Appliance and Bow Family Furniture.
