Anselmo-Merna wins Mullen golf invite

MULLEN – The Anselmo-Merna golf team won the Mullen Invite on Wednesday.

The Coyotes posted a total team score of 342, six shots better than South Loup and the Broken Bow JV, which tied for second.

Aaron Bartak led the way for Anselmo-Merna, placing first on the individual leaderboard with a 76. Colin Cooksley was right behind him with a 77.

Dawson Doggett led South Loup with an 85 to finish seventh while Joey Sallach shot 87 to place tenth.

Caedmon Jensen was Broken Bow’s top player with an 84 to take fifth while Brycen Woodward was ninth with an 87.

Jacob Walker had Mullen’s low score with a 79 to place third while Sandhills/Thedford’s Brady Haake posted an 80 to finish fourth.
