The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatality accident in a pasture. It was reported shortly after 6:30pm Thursday evening northeast of 40 Road and X Road near Campbell. Sheriff Bryon Detlefsen said it occurred as a UTV and motorcyle collided head-on as they were cresting a hill.
A 47-year-old man was transported by Campbell Fire and Rescue to CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney where he was pronounced deceased. The victim’s name has not been released, pending notification of relatives.
