Ogallala, Neb. – The Southwest Conference golf tournament was held on Thursday at the Crandall Creek Course in Ogallala. It was a highly competitive meet with Ogallala claiming the conference title by just two strokes over runner-up Holdrege. The top four team places were separated by just six total shots as Cozad and McCook rounded out that group.

As the team scores might’ve predicted, the individual scores were just as tight. Ogallala’s Caleb Castillo finished as the SWC Champion with a score of 75, followed by Holdrege’s Zach Ptacnik’s 76. Reid Loop of McCook placed third with a 77, and Ben Yocom of Cozad carded a 78 to finish in fourth.
