BASSETT, NE – The Rock County Sheriff’s Office reported someone burglarized a fireworks stand at the Rock County Fair Grounds in Bassett, Nebraska Monday night.
The Rock County Sheriff Office says someone broke down the door to the fireworks stand sometime between 9 pm Monday, July 1st and the morning hours of Tuesday, July 2nd.
The burglar made off with around $4,000 worth of fireworks, other items and damaged property in the process.
Rock County Sheriff says fingerprints were recovered from the scene and will be sent for analysis from the Nebraska State Patrol Crime Lab.
