Memorial Services will be Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 10:30 am at Govier Brothers Chapel in Broken Bow with Military Honors. Memorials are suggested to the Family for future designation. A visitation will take place on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm with family greeting 5:00 to7:00 pm at Govier Brothers Mortuary. Frosty Linn, age 63 of Broken Bow, NE passed away Sunday, January 28th, 2024, at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE after a yearlong battle with lung disease.

Frosty was born on October 2, 1960, in Kimball, Minnesota to Harley and Della (Cudaback) Linn joining his older sister Liz and followed by his 4 younger siblings. After graduating from Kimball High School in 1978, Frosty enlisted into the Army and served 10 years. In 2004 he started a career with Mead Lumber where he stayed until retirement in 2023. After settling in Broken Bow, NE in 1995 where he met his wife, Monica Hurlbert. The two were wed May 25th, 1996. With their union two families became one. In 1997 they added to their family, again in 1999 and for a final time in 2014 when they adopted their grandson.

Frosty enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and anything to do with the mountains; especially if he was with his family. If he wasn’t outside, he could be found watching football, old westerns, and listening to music.

Frosty is survived by his wife Monica, son David DeAngelo and children Dominic; daughter Vicki (Josh) Dicken and children Jase and Josi; daughter Quelli Linn and child Bailey; son Skyler (Nicole) Linn and children Audryna, Macyn, Addicyn, and Ashlynn; daughter McKenzie Nienaber and children Mason and Harper; daughter McKayla Nienaber and children Kaylin and Chance; daughter Jordan (Bailey) Linn and children Breyden and Olivia; son Kevin (Rachel) Linn and children Sawyer and Savannah; and son Jaden Linn. Also, he is survived by brothers Larry (Melissa) Linn and Monte Linn; his aunt Carol; many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Frosty was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Liz Phelps, Carol Ross, and Carla Minnema; and grandson Mikey Eddy.
