The West Point-Beemer Boys Basketball Team lost 59-37 at Wayne in the C1-7 Sub-District Final on Thursday, February 22nd.

Jeff’s Game Recap:

The Blue Devils led 19-12 after one and won the 2nd quarter 8-6 to take a 27-18 lead into the locker room. Wayne won the 3rd quarter 13-11 to extend their lead to 40-29 at the end of three. The Blue Devils outscored the Cadets 19-8 in the 4th quarter. Colten Haber led the way with 9 points and 8 rebounds.

End of Season Synopsis:

West Point-Beemer had a very good team this season, and they were young. The Cadets finish the year at 13-11. West Point-Beemer loses Treven Weddle and Haber to graduation….everyone else is back. I look for the Cadets to be very good and dynamic once again next year. Head Coach Tyler Polacek seems to have this program headed to an elite level, and I look for West Point-Beemer to be very quick and athletic next season. Look out for the Cadets next year and beyond as they are going to be a force to be reckoned with for years to come I have a feeling.
