Graduate senior Kamryn Meyer has been named the Summit League Female Peak Performer of the Month for back-to-back months for her performance on the mound in April.

The ace accounted for 53.0 innings pitched and went 7-0. She retired 62 batters including a 13 strikeout game against Kansas City. During her nine appearances at the mound, she only allowed five runs and was credited for four complete game shutouts for a 0.66 ERA. After giving up two runs to Creighton and three to St. Thomas in the opening two games of the month, Meyer maintained a 0.00 ERA the rest of April.

The Mavericks concluded the month with a series win over North Dakota where Meyer shutout UND 4-0 with 10 strikeouts and only three hits on Sunday.

With Meyer’s help on the mound, Meyer helped the Mavericks to a 4-0 conference series win record.

Meyer and the Mavericks will compete in the Summit League Tournament this weekend to defend their 2023 championship title. As the No. 2 seed the Mavericks have the bye and will compete Thursday, May 9 at 1:30 p.m.
