SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) has announced its softball player and pitcher of the week awards for contests played March 18-24, 2024. Paeton Coler of Midland University was named the GPAC Pitcher of the Week while Kayla Quintanilla of the University of Jamestown was honored as the player of the week.
Coler, a junior from Norfolk, Nebraska, pitched a shutout in game two of the Warriors’ sweep of Concordia this week. She faced 27 batters on the day allowing two hits and three walks while striking out four Bulldogs. The win improved her record to 7-1 on the season in 10 appearances.
