Just after 8 pm on Tuesday night multiple agencies from Burt County responded to a shooting incident in Oakland Nebraska inside the residence in the 300 Block of North Oakland Avenue. When the authorities arrived on scene they found a male individual with a single gunshot wound. The male victim was later pronounced dead. Authorities say there is no threat to the public, and the ongoing investigation is being conducted by the Nebraska State Patrol.
