The Logan View/Scribner-Snyder Boys Basketball Team returns a handful of players from last year’s team.

They are Returning Starters:

Aaron Fitzke, Sr. 6’2 Wing, Ave. 12 ppg, Honorable Mention All Conf/ State, Record for 3’s in a Yr.
Evan Hartman, Sr. 6’ Wing, Ave. 5 ppg, 5 reb.
Kolton Kriete, Jr. 6’3 G, Ave. 9ppg. Record for 3pt % in a season.

And Returning Letterwinners:

Josh Egbers, 5’11, G. Soph.
Nolan Robley, 5’10, G. Soph.

3rd year Head Coach Jake Scheef says these kids are hard working and want to get in the gym, and that was evident over the summer.

I think the Raiders have a chance to do some damage with those top 5 kids listed above this year.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder has experience and some decent size so I look for the Raiders to compete well and hard this season.

Season Outlook:

The Raiders are kind of young this year. Coach Scheef has this preseason assessment of his team. “We will be young and undersized but have some good scoring options and team chemistry.”

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder hosts Oakland-Craig in the season opener on December 1st. Coach Scheef talks about what to expect from the Knights in that one.

Coach Scheef says the Nebraska Capitol Conference is going to be tough once again this year.

The Raiders are in Sub-District C1-6 with West Point-Beemer, Wayne, and Winnebago.

Coach Scheef says the Sub-District has its challenges.

I think when you look at Logan View/Scribner-Snyder’s schedule it’s tough, but there are opportunities for wins in many of the contests.

I’m curious and interested to see if the Raiders can show improvement this year and build upon last year’s 10-14 record.

I think Logan View/Scribner-Snyder can, but the Raiders are going to be challenged throughout the season there’s no doubt about that.

Logan View/Scribner-Snyder should have some good speed so that should help them.
