Leander “Andy” J. Gall, age 80, of Stillwater, Oklahoma formerly of Howells, Nebraska passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, at his home surrounded by family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Howells, NE with burial in the church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Condolences may be sent to the family at 9300 W. 6th Ave, Stillwater, OK 74074. Arrangements by Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Born September 22, 1942, in Howells, NE to Joseph and Mary Kluthe-Gall, he was raised on the family farm and attended Howells Schools. He married Carol Clark on November 23, 1963, in Fremont, Nebraska at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Andy was a truck driver by trade and an all-around handyman, known as “Handy Andy.” While serving in the volunteer fire department in Dodge, NE, he loved attending fire school and spending time with other volunteers. Throughout his life, Andy lived in Howells, Dodge and Lincoln, Nebraska; Dunlap, Iowa; Omaha, NE; and recently moved to Stillwater, Oklahoma. He found great joy in his family, especially in spending time with his grandchildren. Through it all, he was a hard-working provider, driven to help others and had a smile that lit up the room.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to Traditions Hospice (Stillwater, OK) and St. Croix Hospice (Omaha, NE).

Proceeding him in death were his parents; brothers Edward and Dennis; father and mother-in-law Virgil and Florence Clark.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; Children Chris (Julie) Gall of Elkhorn, NE; Pam (Joe) Poe of Stillwater, Oklahoma; and Brenda (Jeff) Henzel of Omaha, NE; grandchildren Mikayla, Ashley, Carlea, Morgan, Madison, Jordan and Brooklyn; great grandchildren Liam, Luke, Keyley, Kayden, Rylan, Rowan, and Asher; siblings Alice Mastera, Sr. Bernice Gall, Benilda “Ben” Spenner, Leroy (Janice) Gall, Joe Gall, Marie (Bill) Koley; sister-in-law Esther Gall; and many nieces and nephews.
