MINDEN – The Minden girls golf team is perfect so far on the year, winners of all 12 of their events with junior KayLynn Jorgensen leading the way.
Jorgensen has won every event this year, including the McCook invite, Cambridge quad, GICC invite, triangular with Cozad and Holdrege, Kearney Catholic invite, Lexington invite, Gothenburg invite, Minden Invite, triangular with Aurora and Hastings, Holdrege Invite, Cozad Invite, and the Southwest Conference Tournament. She has shot between a 72 and a 79 in every 18-hole event, with her best performance coming at the GICC Invite shooting a 72. Minden has finished as consecutive team runner ups in 2022 and 2023, and are hoping this is the year they take home the gold.
