HOLDREGE – The prep spotlight returns this year, and after a 5-1 start to the season for the Highway 6 Trailblazers, sophomore Alexa Hale is this week’s prep spotlight.
Through six games so far, Hale is batting 8-17 (.471) with two home runs, seven RBI’s, two doubles, 10 runs scored and six stolen bases. Highway 6 has started the year 5-1, including a 2-1 record at the Lexington Invite this weekend. The Trailblazers as a team are batting .370 through six games, averaging over nine runs per game. Hale is the only Trailblazer with a home run so far this year.
She spoke with KRVN’s Jon Willis.
Highway 6 is back in action with a triangular later today with Fairbury and Ord, and then will host their invite on Saturday, starting at 9 AM against Lincoln Northwest.
