The Gosper County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a single vehicle, rollover accident on the access road by the Chapel of the Lake at Johnson Lake. Sheriff Jesse Naputi says a deputy on patrol came upon the scene around 10:52pm Wednesday night.
Sheriff Naputi says the incident involved a 16-year-old juvenile male driving a side by side utility vehicle at the time of the accident. The driver was not wearing a helmet nor using a seat belt and was ejected as a result of the accident and pronounced deceased at the scene by the Gosper County Coroner. He has been identified as Alberto Emilio-Silva of Johnson Lake. An autopsy is being conducted in the ongoing investigation.
