S-E-M FFA member named American Star Farmer finalist

A Nebraska FFA member has been named one of four American Star Farmer finalists by the National FFA Organization.

Jacie Wolfinger from the Sumner-Eddyville-Miller FFA Chapter will interview for the award during the upcoming National FFA Convention in October.

The American Star Farmer is awarded to the FFA member that demonstrates the top production agriculture supervised agricultural experience in the nation.

The member must demonstrate outstanding achievement, active FFA participation and an exemplary scholastic record.

The other three finalists for the award are from Oklahoma, Georgia and Illinois.

Wolfinger is currently a student at Oklahoma State University. She is the daughter of Jake and Janice Wolfinger.
